Would you like your student to start the new school year organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Study Skills Seminars.
You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.
Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two 1.5 hour seminars in the Walton’s Lecture Hall, which is in the Media Center.
Study Skills Seminar Times:
• Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am
• Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the seminar is $50.00. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program so please complete the appropriate registration form below, soon.
