July 2022 Study Skills Seminars – Rescheduled

Due to a family emergency, the Study Skills Seminars must be rescheduled as listed below:

  • Tuesday, July 26 rescheduled to Sunday, July 31 at 2:00 pm
  • Wednesday, July 27 rescheduled to Sunday, July 31 at 4:30 pm

If you have registered for a seminar and cannot attend the rescheduled time, please complete the online form by clicking on the button below. If you have not yet registered and wish to do so, please complete the online form(s) at the bottom of the Study Skills Seminar page.

July 2022 Study Skills Seminars

Would you like your student to start the new school year organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Study Skills Seminars.

You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.

Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two 1.5 hour seminars in the Walton’s Lecture Hall, which is in the Media Center.

Would you like your student to start the new school year organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Study Skills Seminars.

You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.

Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two 1.5 hour seminars in the Walton’s Lecture Hall, which is in the Media Center.

Study Skills Seminar Times:
• Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am
• Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the seminar is $50.00. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program so please complete the appropriate registration form below, soon.

• Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am
• Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
• Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the seminar is $50.00. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program.

Jan 2021 Walton Virtual Study Skills Seminars

Would you like your student to start the new semester organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Virtual Study Skills Seminars.

You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.

Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two virtual 1.5 hour seminars. Seminars will be offered in the evening for the convenience of working parents and during the day, as well.

Seminar Times:

  • Mon, Jan 4, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
  • Tues, Jan 5, 2021 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the seminar is $50.00. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program. Registration will close on Friday, Jan 1, 2021 at 11:30pm. The seminars are provided on a first come first served basis, so register soon!
