Raising funds to enrich the Walton High School Community
Walton Parents! One of Walton’s most valued programs, the CTAE pathway, will be short a dedicated teacher for 2023-2024 due to changes in Cobb County funding. This development gives additional urgency to the Capital Campaign. If sufficient funds are raised, resources will be available to support the replacement of this staff and continue core CTAE classwork. Our STEM program needs Raider Valley support. Auction Alert! So far, we’ve learned the 2023 auction features parking for non-seniors, extra graduation tickets for seniors, and class schedule selections. The next featured item? Walton Gear Bonanza! Win a basket of swag including a fuzzy Walton blanket, a sweatshirt and a visor!
Attention Walton Raiders! The Annual Auction will feature reserved underclassman parking! Non-seniors eligible for parking can reserve their spot for the entire year by winning this auction item, and avoid parking in the way way way back. Winning bids also receive their parking permit with the win!
The Capital Campaign has marched into April, and we are looking for additional donors to contribute. The campaign ends April 23rd. In these final weeks, please consider donating today to support Walton staffing needs. Your tax-deductible donation is needed and valued. Donations at the $250 level earn special donor perks, and these donors will receive a blue bow to decorate their mailbox in celebration of Raider Valley.
