MUST Ministries Food Drive

Let’s work together to make the holidays brighter for members of our community. The Walton Student Leadership Council (SLC) is organizing a MUST Ministries food drive. Drop your food in the bins at the front or back of the school. Donations will be accepted from November 11 – 20. Check the ad for the list of foods that are requested. SLC will be offering limited donation pick-up services on Sunday, November 15th and on Wednesday, November 18th.  Click here to sign-up for donation pick-up service.

Link your Grocery Rewards to the Walton Foundation

A very simple and free method to support the Foundation and Walton is to associate your Publix and/or Kroger Rewards accounts to our efforts. Based on your normal shopping, Publix and Kroger will give your designated charity money to help support their efforts. Just setup your account and enter your phone number in the keypad as you checkout, it’s that simple! Teacher grants are fulfilled with the funds raised in this manner.

F2F Students Returning to Campus Nov 5th

Whether you or your student opted to return to campus face-to-face or to remain virtual, please make sure you are ready by reviewing all of the changes taking place on Thursday, Nov 5th at Walton’s website. Just one example of those changes will be that the bell schedule will change for all students. Starting Nov 5th, school will be from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Name a Classroom

The Walton Foundation is pleased to offer businesses, neighborhoods, groups of friends and families the opportunity to leave a permanent impression at Walton by naming a classroom. Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to leave a lasting legacy at Walton High School. When you choose to sponsor a classroom, an etched glass plaque will be placed at the entrance to the designated classroom with the name of the business, family (families), neighborhood or honorary designee of the donor’s choice. Additionally, there will be a listing of all sponsors and their classroom numbers on a Directory Plaque at the front of the new school. All classroom naming gifts are tax deductible and all proceeds will benefit the Walton High School community. See one of the classrooms that have already been named by the Lee Family.

To participate in this unique opportunity, please either fill out the Name a Classroom Form or contact the Foundation to have a Walton Foundation Board Member contact you to discuss your classroom choice and plaque wording. Each $5,000 classroom naming donation can come from an individual or a group of individuals combining their donations to reach the $5,000 donation amount.

A Beautiful Day of Landscaping

Students (Gavin L, Kate W, Jax R, Will D, Davis K, Katelyn L, Ethan L, Aiden B, and Jasmine G) helped the Foundation on a beautiful day this past Saturday, Oct 17th make our school grounds more beautiful by cleaning up and laying mulch in the two memorial gardens on either side of the front entrance of the school, as well as the memorial garden outside the lunch area.

Thank you!
