Would you like your student to start the new semester organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Virtual Study Skills Seminars.
You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.
Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two virtual 1.5 hour seminars. Seminars will be offered in the evening for the convenience of working parents and during the day, as well.
Seminar Times:
- Mon, Jan 4, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
- Tues, Jan 5, 2021 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the seminar is $50.00. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program. Registration has closed for the Monday session and will close on Monday, Jan 4th, 2021 at 11:30am for the Tuesday session. The seminars are provided on a first come first served basis, so register soon!
Once you are registered, you will receive an email with your registration confirmation immediately and you will receive and email with your online meeting details the weekend before the event for the Monday session and on Monday for the Tuesday session. Please check your email’s Junk/Spam folder before the seminar, if you can’t find your email with the meeting details before contacting the Foundation for support.
