The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a club sponsored by the Walton High School Foundation. We plan and host events that create lifelong memories for Walton’s students while fundraising for our school and community charities. In a typical year, SLC hosts the Homecoming Dance, Powder Puff, Grill Days, WEB pizza, and Hoops for Hope.
We try to keep the membership to 35 -40 students so that each student can have meaningful leadership experiences. We focus on leadership characteristics, as well marketing and fundraising skills. Our members are required to commit 15 hours per semester which includes our meetings.
