Raising funds to enrich the Walton High School Community
Thank you to the 36 students and parent volunteers who, even in the bitter cold, made tremendous progress on the hillside as well as the garden outside the cafeteria during our March 23rd Campus Spring Cleanup. They pulled many weeds and planted flowers. We were able to plant flowers in the planters in the garden and along our Raider Valley wall. These students worked hard!

Come play in the dirt for service hours! Sat, 3/12 from 12-3 the Foundation and the Walton Green Team will be leading a campus spring cleanup. We are flexible and will gladly accept any time that can be given.
When signing up, please include the time that you are available. We ask that volunteers bring, if they have, gloves and a rake.
Keeping our community and schools clean one pickup at a time. We meet outdoors once a month to pick up trash at Walton, its feeder schools or East Cobb Park. The Walton Green Team had a nice day on Saturday, February 27th for their latest clean. Last month the Green Team picked up trash at Walton and several of its feeder schools. After not finding a great deal of trash at our local schools, the team decided to go to East Cobb Park for its clean in February. As you can see, the group found plenty of trash at our local park. They ended their project feeling like they had done some good work for their East Cobb community.
On March 13, 2021 from 10am-3pm, the Green Team will be assisting the Foundation in cleaning and sprucing the gardens at Walton. You can help us and earn service hours by joining the Green Team here or you can join us for just the day by emailing Caroline Whaley at Caroline.Whaley@gmail.com. We will be working from 10am-3pm but you can join us for as long as your schedule allows. Lunch will be provided.
Come Play in the Dirt!! On Saturday, March 13th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, the WHS Foundation and Walton Green Team will be leading a campus wide spring cleanup. We will be focusing on the 5 Foundation gardens, and the front of the school, weeding, cleaning out beds and laying mulch!
