Walton Crash Course for Rising 9th Graders

Would you like your student to start high school organized and prepared for an excellent career at Walton? Join us on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 for our new Walton Crash Course for 9th Grade Students. You and your student will learn how to take effective notes, utilize class and study resources offered at Walton and be organized for his or her classes.

Learning specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering two (2) 1.5-hour learning sessions on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in the Lecture Hall within the Information Center. The sessions will be offered at 9:30am and 1:00pm.

One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the session is $50.00. If you would like to sign-up for the Walton Crash Course, please click below. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program.

Graphic Novels in Honors World Lit Class

October 15, 2018

English Teacher, Callie Bryan, was able to purchase graphic novels for his Honors World Lit class with the 2018-19 teacher grant money from Publix and Kroger donations. The Rostam and Suhrab graphic novels makes the epic more accessible and easier to comprehend. Additionally, students use the graphic novel as inspiration for their own symbolic visuals on an assignment.
