CCYA Collection Day – Aug 15th now Sept 10th

Join the Walton Touchdown Club and the Student Leadership Council in collecting needed items for the Cobb Center for Children and Young Adults (CCYA.)   CCYA has a wide range of needs: from household supplies to pantry items which makes it easy for us all to chip in to help this wonderful organization in our own community.  The items can be dropped off from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15th in front of Raider Valley.  Students will be in front of the stadium to take your donations.

8/11/2021 Update: The collection date of Aug 15th has been cancelled, but instead items will be collected at our first home game on Sept 10th at Raider Valley.

2021 July Walton Study Skills Seminars

Would you like your student to start the new school year organized and prepared for an excellent semester at Walton? You and your student should join us for one of our Study Skills Seminars.

You and your student will learn how to take effective notes and to utilize class and study resources offered at Walton to be better organized and prepared for his or her classes.

Learning Specialist and former teacher, Natalie Collins M.Ed., will be offering three 1.5 hour seminars in the Walton’s Lecture Hall, which is in the Media Center.

Study Skills Seminar Times:
• Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am
• Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
• Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

One parent must attend with his or her student so that you are also aware of the resources available and the various organizational systems that can benefit your student. The cost of the seminar is $50.00. We have a limited number of students and parents we can accommodate to ensure an effective program.
