CHEERLEADER INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION
Cheerleader Registration Packet – Cheerleaders are chosen on a first-come/first-chosen basis.

*Registration packets are available during lunch periods the week of November 12 - 15, 2018 and on this website.
*Registration packets must be turned in by Wednesday, November 28 by 12:45pm. This is WEB.
*Complete both the registration form and the insurance form. A parent/legal guardian must sign insurance form.
*Write a check for $20 payable to Walton High School Foundation or bring $20. (Your fees cover your t-shirt and other costs associated with the event. )

Cheerleader Requirements:
All selected cheerleaders must attend a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, November 28th at 1:00 pm during WEB in the theater.
All cheerleaders and their parents must sign an agreement stating their understanding of the rules for the pep rally and halftime show.  The contract is available on this site. It must be turned in by November 28th by 12:45 pm. (either electronically or printed and placed in an envelope with your fee marked Powder Puff )    Bring to the front office.   Students who do not turn in the agreement will not be allowed to participate.
All cheerleaders must submit a video of their routine to Mrs. Manheim by 9am on January 9th so your routine can be approved.

General Information
Please read this entire packet carefully for important dates regarding meetings and practices.

Game Day Schedule – Friday, January 11, 2019
Place: Raider Valley
4:30 pm    Players/Coaches/Cheerleaders report to the stadium
5:00 pm – Gates open
5:30pm - Game #1 – Seniors vs. Freshmen
               Game #2 – Juniors vs. Sophomores
6:30pm  – Presentation of the King and his Court
                                 Cheerleading competition
7:00 pm (approx.) – Game #3 – Consolation match
                                 Game #4 – Winners’ Game
Proceeds used to support the Foundation's projects for 2019 - 2020.

PLAYER INFORMATION

Player Registration – Players are selected on a first come, first serve basis.

*Registration forms are available outside the dining hall the week of November 12 - 15, 2018 and on this website.  (see above)
*Registration forms must be turned in by November 28th, to the front office by the end of the day.
*Complete both the registration form and the insurance form. A parent/legal guardian must sign insurance form.
*Write a check for $20 payable to Walton High School Foundation or bring $20 in cash in a sealed envelope, marked Powder Puff to the front office with your Insurance form.  If you've paid on-line, you will only need your insurance form turned in.
*Each grade level team can have up to 30 players.

*Completed rosters will be posted on the Bulletin Board on the First Floor across from the restrooms.

Player Requirements:
Uniform: Black leggings or shorts shorts are acceptable, socks, athletic shoes
Powder Puff t-shirts: Seniors – Black

Juniors - Blue

Sophomores – Red

Freshman - Grey

Equipment: Mouthpiece REQUIRED (no exceptions), will be checked at the mandatory practice Thursday, November 29th, and before the game.
Mandatory Rules Meeting: Wednesday, November 28th, 2018, at 1:00p.m. in the Theater.

Mandatory Practice for teams:  Thursday, November 29th:

3:40 Freshman & Sophomores - Lower Parking Lot

4:15 Juniors & Seniors - Lower Parking Lot

Other practices are scheduled by the captains and coaches of each team.  If you do not attend practices, you will not be able to play the night of the game. Captains are to keep Mrs. Winokur informed as to practice dates/times/locations.
